Soundwave at World Waterpark

Soundwave is a one of a kind electronic music experience held in the largest indoor waterpark in the world in West Edmonton Mall. Electronic Dance Music monsters such as Steve Aoki, Marshmello, Dillon Francis, AfroJack, Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, Jauz, and more have all performed at this unique event. Soundwave has set the bar extremely high by hosting up to 5 events a year, all of which have music festival caliber lineups. To put this in perspective, Soundwave hosts roughly 40 world class DJ’s a year which puts them right on par with some of the world’s largest electronic music festivals.

Aside from the DJ’s, Soundwave offers attendees a chance to strip down into their beach wear and enjoy a tropical-like climate, warm wavey water, beach volleyball, indoor surfing, ping pong and frisbee; or they can sit back and relax in their private cabana while sipping on their favorite cocktail. To each their own! This is the perfect getaway for students and EDM fans who are craving some summer fun, especially in the middle of an Alberta winter!

If you are not an electronic music fan, that’s ok! On some occasions Soundwave has welcomed other genre’s into the mix. Rae Sremmurd, Tyga & Ty Dolla Sign put forth a Hip-Hop show in 2017; and Country Music stars Chad Brownlee and Tim Hicks performed in January of 2017.
