Grammy-award winning, international recording artist Sean Paul will perform during the halftime show when the Edmonton Eskimos take on the BC Lions on Friday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
Four hundred fans will win an exclusive experience to watch the "Tek Weh Yuh Heart" Reggae artist perform up-close-and-personal on field. Fans who purchase a ticket to Friday's game during Monday's "Flash Sale" will also receive a wristband which gives them exclusive access to the halftime performance floor (while quantites last). Winners will also be randomly selected during the game in addition to various contests leading up to the game. Everyone with a game ticket is eligible. Additional lucky fans will be randomly selected for an exclusive meet-and-greet in the QB Club at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium after the final whistle.
The Kingston, Jamaica native, Sean Paul has performed in over 100 countries and at major events including the 2007 Cricket World Cup opening Ceremony in the West Indies. In addition to winning a Grammy Award, he has won an American Music Award, a Soul Train Award, and has been nominated for numerous other awards. The certified-platinum artist has collaborated with other major artists including, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Akon, and Lil' Jon.
Released earlier this year, Sean Paul's hit "No Lie" reached #4 on the Billboard Top 40 and amassed more than 180 million views on YouTube.
