Seven Music Fest is pleased to present recording artist Elle King! Singer, songwriter, banjo and guitar player; Elle King takes inspiration from Hank Williams, Blondie, Otis Redding and AC/DC. King’s diverse talents and influences resulted in Grammy nom’s in two very different genres with "Ex's & Oh's" in the Best Rock Song & Best Rock Performance category and again for "Different for Girls" with Dierks Bentley in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Saturday July 7th in St. Albert, AB
As an unabashed road warrior and “wandering soul”, she has already worked with some of the most influential artists and producers in the industry and toured with the likes of Train, Of Monsters and Men and Ed Sheeran. Her songs have also been featured on television and film soundtracks.
“We are truly thrilled to have Elle and her band headline Seven this year,” said Barry Bailey, Seven Music Fest producer. “Her musical diversity really sums up the philosophy of what our festival tries to represent.” Seven celebrates a “first” this year by bringing King in from the USA and Banners from the UK. “Up to this point we haven’t had the opportunity to bring in international artists,” says Bailey, “but the calibre and availability of Elle and Banners was too much to resist!”
Joining Elle King & Banners onstage are Delhi 2 Dublin, The Wet Secrets, Altameda, Kane Incognito and Martin Kerr.
